Spacious room overlooking Corso Garibaldi. A unique element was the nightly live music performed below our window. Really good breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. Central location within walking distance of all the sites to see in Reggio, the better restaurants and cafes as well as the Lungomare (shore/beaches).

Great support from the owner who was always very responsive and committed to assist with our concerns and needs.
One of the rooms faces the street and the noise was intense at night. So he helped us moving to a quieter room and we had a great stay!

Location was great! Very close to Cesare gelato, the archaeological museum, hydrofoil, and lungomare. Staff were very accommodating. We had a very early train and they gave us breakfast to go. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. Room and bathroom were large and clean. The hotel is a bit dated in terms of decor, but we had a good stay. Would recommend.

La colazione sulla terrazza con vista sullo stretto!
There was a lot of garbage in the streets. Looks like it’s not collected very often which is a pity. Most pavements need to be redone as there are a lot of cracks and potholes. The main shopping area is very clean and well kept though. Trains are very punctual. Only had one delay but it wasn’t their fault as their was a fire somewhere. And only one hour delay so the train after that was on schedule.
One other thing, the evening train going to Lamezia terme on a Saturday evening was full of youngsters and the boys were extremely rowdy and noisy to the extent of making me feel uncomfortable even though I wasn’t traveling alone.

The main attraction is the National Archeological Museum containing the Riace bronzes. The museum is excellent with almost everything explained in good English captions.

Pleasant, friendly and helpful people.
Pleasant, friendly and helpful people. We went to see the famous Riace Bronze statutes in the Museum. The staff there were informative and accommodating. It was a nice town to stroll around with the main street being a pedestrian precinct

Reggio Calabria is worth a short visit, 2-3 days at the most. It could be a good base for day trips to other towns and beach areas such as Tropea and Scilla. There’s not a lot to see in Reggio; the Archeological Museum is the main attraction.
Day to day life is traditional Sicilian, English is not spoken as readily as on the mainland. Typically, restaurants open at 8:00pm for dinner…almost nothing is open earlier other than a gelateri or coffee bar. This is mainly a pedestrian city.

There were plenty of choices for breakfast, the room was a great size, the location was perfect, and the room had everything you needed and more. The bus stop from the airport was very close to the room. I had read it was possible to get to the city center from the airport by train but it seems that is not possible but no problem the bus was easy and very close. I would highly recommend this place. The owners were very attentive and helped make my stay a great one.
Malalbergo is a smart option for those wanting the amenities of a hotel but with an Airbnb feel. Only three rooms are offered along with a hostel setting. The location is good, close to the boardwalk and each room has a lovely view of the Straits of Messina. Below the "hotel" is a nice cafe where you can get a nice breakfast, lunch or evening snack and cocktail. Very smart and a good value
This is one of the best & cleanest Hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and the staff was amazing and completely organised with everything at hand. I would advise anyone going to Reggio Calabria to stay here 100%.
Even gave a birthday surprise/cake which was so generous I can’t even describe!
Room has everything you need, massive walk in shower, and little balcony with cushions and great sea view!
Everything. Francisco the host was welcoming, thoughtful, sensitive and he provided a superb breakfast. The place is effectively a first-rate boutique hotel with really excellent facilities. If ever we come to Reggio again, we will definitely stay here. Entirely recommended, don't look anywhere else! And a lovely city! Also, the b&b is perfect for the railway station.
Antonio is a great host who cares for his tennants. He made sure that we were comfortable in the appartment. It has been renovated with high end materials. After multiple rental appartments through Italy during our trip, this one was by far the best equiped. Nothing was missing. There is also a free parking not to far. We really enjoyed the view and the location.

We very much liked this small hotel. Modern stylish interior, Comfortable large beds, spacious rooms. Especially I was pleased by the bathroom with a magnificent shower cabin. I advise all. Separately I want to tell warm words about a breakfast. The owner brought pastries from the best local candy store early in the morning. My friends were delighted.
I liked the location within minutes walking of the train station and the main pedestrian street. The hotel is sleek and modern with keyless entry using your phone. The room was large and well appointed. Great shower and amenities. Breakfast was excellent with generous sweet and salty choices. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and kind.
Perfect place to stay and explore Reggio di Calabria.
Close to train station and port where you can find ferries to Sicily.
Apartment is very clean, cosy and completely equipped (with two balcony)
Aurora gave us some useful tips and was very hospitable during our whole stay.
It was a great choice.
Thank you very much 😊
Staff was grrat!!! The property is close to airport (walkable)
When we asked how long a walk and instead of just saying the directions they walked us to it so we wouldn't get lost trying to make an early morning flight
Property is basic, but we'll maintained. If you need a place to stay to make a flight, this is it.
We were very grateful for the provisions that were left for us. We have stayed in an great number of apartments throughout Italy, yet never have we seen such generosity. The host was fantastic and very accommodating. This is clearly an apartment that they care about and look after.
The hosts were extremely kind and helpful! The breakfast was amazing and they went out of their way to help in any way they could. I have stayed in hotels around Calabria and when I return I will not stay anywhere else besides Casa Canale. Amazing service and place!
Excellent hotel 7 minut walk from the Reggio airport. Beautiful and clean appartment with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. We arrived in the middle of the night and the host was waiting for us. Demetrio is very friendly and kind. It was a fantastic stay.🤩😘
loved this hotel. would stay here again. both Luigi and Roberta were very helpful and it made my stay there amazing. great location in Reggio Calabria that is very central and the breakfast is great. definitely recommend 10/10
Beautiful hotel, centrally located, great rooftop bar and restaurant. But what truly makes this hotel exceptional are the staff. They are all nice and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant
extremely clean! The owner really knows how to run the accommodations. Breakfast was over the top and very unexpected accommodations are within walking distance to the airport.
The hotel is in close proximity to the train station and not far from the city centre. The room is very large and bright. The air conditioning worked quietly.
